Problem: Bcm2 problems on a 2014 Audi A4, anyone have suggestions? Read on bench with xhorse vvdi prog , car is dead now. Anyone have a repair service I can use? I have read and verified dflash and pflash before reinstalling in car. Renesas D70F3634 Possible reasons: To read encrypted BCM you need remove the resistor components before reading. The components are not soldered back on properly. Solutions: 1. Get donor and write files to it and you are good to go. Everything will be fine. 2. Send the car to someone who have odis with a used BCM. It takes less than 24 hours to get the approval from ingolstadt and get it programmed. Just fixed one the other day. 3. After brick a same bcm2 on Audi A7 restored with hextag/hexprog with original backup of eeprom and donor A6 backup of flash, recoded and updated via vagcan pro, all was ok and car was gone, if you have hextag/hexprog can help with restore of this unit.

Is available any cheap way to read/write PSA Peugeot Citroen SID 208 ecu? Can I read SID208 ECU with Kess, Ktag or pcm-flash clone?  Any update to this tool or other clone tool? 1. KESS V2 / KTAG clone Kess genuine cannot make this. Only genuine ktag on pinout or with ktag obd cable on vehicle. Working with orig Ktag, use 14.4V and it takes max 3.7A when reading/writing. Some people did read SID208 with ktag 7.020 clone. but need luck. Clone tools usually have a problem with this protocol they read ford sid208 but not PSA 208. 14.1V and works. Plug-in 510: SID 208 IROM IC1797. You need 10amp and 14V and KTAG will read it perfectly, needs a lot of power supply.! if not read open device find CERAMIC RESONATOR 4.000MHZ 2-PINS and replace with 3pin.  Make sure use proper power supply though.  ktag 7.020 read / write no problem. Car model and year: 2007 C6 Chevrolet Corvette Symptom: put my 07 base in for new harmonic balancer + a few other maint. items. I wanted to do was flash my ECU and get it back to stock. Apparently there are some applications which once applied put the thing on lockdown. Vxdiag Vcx Nano Gm Scanner I was informed: “If ur using an aftermarket tuner like hptuners and so on. The tuner locks the ecu.”. The next step is to unlock it and flash back in the stock OEM tune. Someone did a re-tune on the car, and locked the tune; which locks a tech II/MDI from working with the ECM. Note, because of this reason, most tuners will not lock an after market tune!!!! So either need to find out how did the tune to unlock it, or will need to pull the ECM, send it a third party to unlock it and flash back in the stock OEM tune.
